Sumac - 70% Dark Chocolate - Limited Batch

Yes, that funny looking red plant on the side of the road is edible! In fact it makes a great raspberry lemonade type drink. This plant was heavily used by Native Americans. The teeny tiny red berries are coated in malic acid which gives them their tart flavor. For this batch, I acquired fresh ground sumac from a local Michigan family who owns a sumac farm in Jordan. As for the chocolate, it's very adventurous and very tart. Definitely a unique tasting bar full of flavor!

Small batch chocolate is best enjoyed at room temperature so the chocolate can quickly melt and coat your taste buds.
